Chill was developed by Silicon Dreams and published by Eidos for the Sony Playstation in late 1997. It was scheduled for release on the Saturn in Q1 1998, and fully reviewed by at least one magazine.
Unlike many unreleased Saturn titles, Chill was fully complete, with the dumped "prototype" being labeled as a 1.0 version. While Eidos did not issue any sort of explanation for the cancelation, it is likely that Sega of America's announcement that they were discontinuing support for the hardware greatly influenced Eidos's own decision to also quit.
